Brief for Phase Nine of #ProjectScouted

Hi Team.

Brief.

Location- Midlands.

Simz and myself will leave at 12.30

We have a location in mind - indoors in one of the little store which has very boho furniture from Bali. This can only be confirmed on Monday. 

The second location is a forest which we will still need to scout once we are up there while hair and make up is being done. 

Vintage feel // Bohemian // fee- spirit. 

Girls make up simple, dark brows and nude lips. Hair messy as per ref pic attached. (Kylie Jenner on right)

5 looks: one for each girl.

1. Black Crochet Gypsy Dress with hats boots necklaces...

2. Long Lace Kimono, printed tee and shorts, hat and accessories. 

3. Long Lace Kimono, printed tee and shorts, hat and accessories.

4. Statement tee with lace shorts and accessories. Barefoot. 

5. Denim Wait Coat, loose dress and grungy shirt. boots hat and accessories. 

We hope to start the shooting at 2pm

Phase Seven : Brief : #ProjectScouted

hey there, 

welcome to the brief...

This week is all about glam, personality and how well you work with your fellow project scouted models. 

Each group will get a set number of frames so be aware of lighting, your angles and working as a team. Goodluck!

Venue: Thompson Bay Beach, Ballito (meet at the tidal pool)

Call Time: 7:00am

Make-up: Golds, bronze, full fake lashe

Hair: wet and sleek or high buns

Accessories: thick gold chains, chunky bangels (anything you dont mind getting wet.

Outfits: long sleeve button down shirts with collar. Sheer/ prints or colour etc. i will be supplying a couple tops but bring if you have. 

Remember your clothes will be getting wet. I will also be supplying pasties (don't worry, nothing is going to show that shouldn't show) for  protective covering so we don't have strings and straps sticking out all over the place.  

bottoms are fine or something with a little more coverage as I don't doubt the water is going to be chilly. 

You won't be seen from the waists down, so don't worry too much. You might like to wear shoes or slops as the tidal pool floor can be a little rocky and this will help with when trying to balance.

#ProjectScouted - Phase Five Brief

Phase 5  Brief- Suit & Tie

Photographer- Van.Go photography

Theme- Suit and Tie

Date- 12^th April (Sunday)

Venue- The Park across from Spiga D’oro on Florida Road

Time- 8am

For phase 5 I have gone with a theme that will challenge the ladies. All girls will be dressed in suit and tie and will get to live in the shoes of a classy man. It’s all portraying the 21^st Century man of class.

Theme and dress code-

All Ladies must wear a pair of Black skinny jeans, a white collared shirt and black heals.

The rest will be provided.

Hair and Makeup-

The hair must be slicked back or tied up in a tight high pony tail.

The makeup must be done to highlight the cheek bones and jaw line just like that of a man. Which means lots of contouring to create a strong jaw line. The ladies can either choose between a dark lip with a nude eye or a nude lip and dark smokey eyes.

#ProjectScouted - Phase 4 Brief

Theme- Enchanted

Date and time- 21^st March, 8am

Venue- Mitchells park, Morningside

This phase, I have chosen the theme enchanted, A chance for the ladies to channel their inner beauty and live in a day of every girls fantasy.

Hair-

The hair should be curly with lots of volume, or in a loose plat accompanied by a flower crown which is optional.

Dress code- All girls must wear a boob tube top and hot pants - you will be provided with the garment when on location. 

Makeup-

I have gone with a very artistic approach for the makeup, Using a lot of colour over the entire eye and a nude lip. Girls must arrive with just their base colour on.
Make up will be done by: Make-Up the College (arrive with foundation on)

Pose-

 The ladies will pose in different lying patterns on a bed of flowers, with the material spread out in creative ways.

#ProjectScouted : Final Phase : Brief

The theme for the Top 3 is: Ethereal Fashion

This round will be a Mangrove Swamp collaboration shoot between Jerome Stoffels & Roy Esterhuysen where the Top 3 will get full length and close-up images from both photographers

We will be meeting at Durban Surf Lifesaving at 10am this Sunday. Why Durban Surf? Well the view is awesome and the Coffee bar is one of the best in Durban.

Hair & Make-up: 10am – 12:00
Hair will be styled by Kezia (extremely talented with hair styling) & The makeup will be done by Charelle of
Make-up by Charelle (Amazing and flawless make-up in our opinion)

Dress fittings: 12 - 12:30
Fashion designer Larisa from Larisa MODA will be dressing the top 3 in her beautiful summer range that was displayed at SA Fashion week as part of Lufthansa’s 1st best collection competition.

12:30 we will leave Durban Surf for the Mangrove Swamp, where we will be shooting the Top 3 on the Walkways and in-between the mangrove trees from 13:00 – 15:30, we will need to limit the amount of people to the final shoot, due to the delicate balance of the mangrove eco system & everyone needing to stay on the walkways.

#ProjectScouted : Phase Twelve : Brief

In the words of the photographer:

With Project Scouted drawing to a close I had a few ideas for my shoot and seeing as we are close to the end I decided on a celebration theme.

Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) which is a Latin American celebration.

I get to work with Charelle one of the best makeup artist and I’ve asked her to take full control of the skull makeup and hair.

We will have two male models on set Chad and Keelan Brissett [The Twins] who will pose with the models.

Venue: Colombo Coffee / Factory Cafe Address: 369 Magwaza Maphalala St, (Umbilo)

Dress code: Black suit jacket and black trousers, white shirt, bowtie or tie and high heels.

The jacket does not have to be fitted so you could use a friends one. I’ll also bring along my jacket in case one of the models can’t get hold of one.

Times: 07:30 Charelle to arrive to set up

Keelan & Chad (1 hour each makeup) 9:30 done.

09:30 -  Lieche makeup starts (45min each)

10:15- Taliya 

11:00- Toni

11:45- Sarah

12:30- Samantha

13:15- all models complete with make-up

#ProjectScouted : Phase Eleven : Brief

Hola, welcome to the brief...

This round we will be taking the ladies to new heights.

Thursday 17th,

Hair and make-up will be done by the lovely Charelle and Kez, who have been briefed on the required looks. Charelle will be giving each of the models a time slot. 

Times start from 10:00am.

10:00AM - Lieche & Taliya

10:30AM - Toni & Sarah

11:00AM - Samantha 

Venue for hair and make-up will be Charelle's home. Address will be SMS'd to you. 

Since we are invading the private space of our make-up artist we are limiting attendance during the make-up and hair sessions to behind the scene, bloggers and those directly involved with project scouted. Please refrain from additional spectators - this is much appreciated. 

We leave to head to the location at 2:00pm sharp. The location is just past Collisheen in Ballito, but we can all drive in convoy from Charelle's place. If directions are needed don't hesitate to ask.

Models - please wear strapless nude bras (if needed) and dark leggings to cover your bottom half, the rest of the outfit will be provided. Strictly no heels or slops, sensible flats only - your feet wont be showing - this is to help with balance. Bring a gown or robe to wear before and after, nothing over the head please.

Please DO NOT wash your hair the night before and DO NOT put a straightening iron to hair. 

Jewellery - big bold chunky necklaces, layers, arm bands, bracelets, big is better.

 

I have attached some poses to inspire.  This round you need to think about shapes, gestures, intention and emotion. A serious "bored" look just aint going to cut it. Practice your posing on a high stool or on your bed. 

Balance is key.

Please no prima ballerinas.

Remember, this is all in the arms, hip and waist.
