I believe that one should always follow their feelings, regardless if they are logical or not.
Embrace your feelings I always say.
It does not matter if these feelings are good or bad, just embrace them and let your heart lead the dance.
This is why it’s OK to be sad. It’s OK to cry. It’s OK to dwell on your pain. You don’t always have to cheer up for the sake of another.
Today I decide to go against this belief.
Today I endure pain for love.
Today I walk past the warning sign.
Tonight I let fear feast.
Tonight I depend on faith.

Authenticity is invaluable; Originality is nonexistent.
The history of the world is one of shared spaces, shared food, shared water, shared DNA, shared lives.
The history of art is the same.
It is a history of an evolution of ideas, of appropriation and application.
Therefore, if you’re looking for inspiration, look no further than 1. inside you; and then 2. to other art work that fuels your soul.
Apply your own story to what you see.
Make it relevant, make it yours.
Remix it all and you’re underway.
“Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is nonexistent.”

Sunrise
"At sunrise everything is luminous but not clear.
It is those we live with and love and should know who elude us.
You can love completely without complete understanding."
Early morning shoot with Sindy Dlamini.
The sun took a good 45 minutes to finally break through the horizon, giving lots of time to capture some great shots!

Photographer: Gregory Crewdson
Gregory Crewdson (born September 26, 1962) is an American photographer who is best known for elaborately staged, surreal scenes of American homes and neighborhoods.
The sheer nature and attention to detail used in each of his shoots somehow warrants the exorbitant prices!
See link for details on the $1 Million Photo Shoot!

Up first; Peter Lik.
Peter Lik (born 1959 in Melbourne) is a self-taught Australian landscape photographer who took to the medium when young. While traveling in Alaska in 1984, Lik began to experiment with panoramic cameras. He is known for his limited editions. For more info on Peter check out his website.
Some of the people that have one of his pieces include; George Bush, Celine Dion, Dr Dre, Bill Clinton, Justin Timberlake and Paris Hilton!

those Moments
"A few times in my life I've had moments of absolute clarity, when for a few brief seconds the silence drowns out the noise and I can feel rather than think, and things seem so sharp and the world seems so fresh.
I can never make these moments last.
I cling to them, but like everything, they fade.
I have lived my life on these moments.
They pull me back to the present, and I realize that everything is exactly the way it was meant to be."
